Abstract

Digital transformation has become an important factor in supporting SME internationalization through the utilization of digital platforms such as marketplaces and social media. This study aims to analyze digital platform-based internationalization strategies among SMEs in Bekasi Regency. The research employed a qualitative approach using an exploratory case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving SME actors and the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs of Bekasi Regency. The findings indicate that digital platforms play a significant role in expanding market access, strengthening product branding, increasing customer engagement, and developing international business networks. Internationalization strategies are implemented through digital branding, the utilization of global marketplaces, product adaptation, and business network development. The success of SME internationalization is influenced by digital capability, organizational readiness, leadership capability, and support from the regional digital ecosystem. However, SMEs still face several challenges, including low digital literacy, limited production capacity, and inadequate understanding of export procedures. This study concludes that digital platform-based SME internationalization is a multidimensional process requiring the integration of technology, human resources, business networks, and global market adaptation
