The Effect Of Compensation And Work Discipline On Employee Performance At PT. Tombak Intan In Tangerang
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Tombak Intan, in Tangerang, either partially or simultaneously. This study uses quantitative data with quantitative methods and hypothesis testing. The population is employees who work at PT. Tombak Intan, as many as 89 employees. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique, so that the entire population was sampled, namely 89 employees. Data analysis techniques are used by: 1. Validity and Reliability Test, 2. Classical Assumption Test, 3. Simple Regression, 4. Multiple Regression, 5. Correlation Coefficient, 6. Determination Coefficient and 7. Hypothesis Testing, all tests are carried out using operations SPSS application version 26. The results of this study are all questionnaire items are declared valid by obtaining a value of rcount> rtable (0.208) and a reliable level for variable compensation (X1) 0.751, Work Discipline (X2) 0.667 and Employee Performance (Y) 0.639 which has a value Cronbatch Alpha is greater than 0.600. And the results of this study indicate that Compensation (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) with a partial t test, the value of t count> t table or (7.784> 1.988), it is also strengthened by a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. With this it can be concluded that H01 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted. The results of the research on Work Discipline (X2) have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) with a partial t test, the value of tcount> ttable or (8.867> 1.988), this is also strengthened by a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. With this it can be concluded that H02 is rejected and Ha2 is accepted. The results of the study the effect of Compensation and Work Discipline simultaneously have a positive effect on Employee Performance, this is proven by the value of Fcount> Ftable or (49.648> 2.710) and significant 0.000 <0.05, multiple linear regression equations to determine the effect of compensation and work discipline on employee performance with a value of Y = 11.072 + 0.280X1 + 0.448X2 and a correlation value of 0.732 and a coefficient of determination of 53.6%, while the remaining 46.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. So it can be concluded that H03 is rejected and Ha3 is accepted.
